Well, I burnt the chicken.

Dolapo

I initially planned not to tell you anything about this.

And I would love to keep it that way…

Because what we kept aside as a secret is always valuable.

But we have been together for a very long time.

Infact, I can’t just let it slide like that.

And that’s why I will be going against my words today.

I will be revealing what I initially planned to keep to myself right now.

After all, what are friends for?

But before revealing anything concerning that…

You need to know I am this person that can cook but hates cooking.

I count it as a waste of time.

Having to enter the kitchen, spend nothing short of 1hr plus cooking some food, and finishing the food in 20 mins is a big waste of time.

And with that, I prefer entering any restaurant to eat.

But sometimes, I just feel the urge to at least try my hands on something.

Cook some home delicacy and also to make sure I haven’t lost touch with my cooking thingy.

And one of those days was yesterday.

I was coming back from work already dead tired.

But I don’t really feel like entering any restaurant to eat.

Maybe I am tired or something.

So I opted to cook efo.

And boy oh boy.

I should have just eaten in my restaurant and not stressed myself on something not worth it.

From the beginning of the cooking when I started dozing…

I knew this cooking is gon be an error.

But I forged ahead.

I was boiling the chicken and I went inside to pick some stuff.

And guess what?

Well, I burnt the chicken.

And funny enough, it almost sent the house up in smokes.

Meaning, I almost burned my house.

But I still didn’t deter.

I finished cooking and by the time I tasted the food.

I just decided to go and buy noodles.

Mind you, this isn’t the first time I have been cooking.

I have cooked a lot of things even efo and they came out well.

But that yesterday wasn’t it at all.

And this is why I always tell copywriters that…

No matter how long you have been writing successful copy… there are times when your copy will just flop hands down.

It doesn’t mean you are a failure.

It happens even to the best of us.

It might just be caused by an external force.

My bad cooking was caused by stress.

Your copy might flop because you stressed your brain too much.

It can be just anything.

All you need is to get to the solution.

How do I revamp this copy?

  • Is the offer really good or I should Tush it up a bit?
  • Is my lead that strong?
  • Was I being too pushy with my close?
  • Or just anything.

Check and you will be able to revamp your copy.

It doesn’t mean you are a failure.

I hope you get that?

Good.

And back to what I wanted to tell you initially…

The layman guide will officially increase to N25,000 ($50) tomorrow.

I was thinking of springing it on you just like that but I am a good man, hun?

Exactly.

And the affiliate challenge will start February 1st to March 2nd (30 days)

Any affiliate with 30 sales and more will go home with an extra N160,000 in his or her pocket.

And the only way to qualify as an affiliate to promote and join this challenge is to get the layman guide…

Either now or tomorrow when it’s N25,000.

Here’s the link: The Layman Guide.

Do have a nice day ahead,

And remember because you have been doing something for a long time doesn’t mean you can’t still fail at it.

Just go back to your drawing board and you will get it right again.
