Use these 3 tips and come back to thank me

Dolapo

I did something really bad yesterday, .

And I am here to atone for it.

You see, you are always the priority on my mind.

If I want to share any premium information,

I prefer to tell you and others first. (My email people)

But yesterday, I was just playing around and I remembered some questions that I have been asked about productivity.

Like how can I be productive?

Like Dolapo, you are very lazy and always productive… How do you do it?

Yada yada.

So I acted on impulse yesterday and I told my WhatsApp people the 3 good things that have been helping me.

Even though I have never done it before. I will just do it now.

I will repeat everything I said to them yesterday on here because the majority of those reading my mails aren’t viewing my status which is fine.

It will be unedited and the tone might not fit here, just take it like that.

Kapish?

Good.

Here goes:

Sitting down for hours to work is something huge for me to do sha.

Like bro, how TF am I supposed to sit down for hours doing something?

Me that I am very lazy and I like walking about.

But when I discovered these three things, working become very easier for me.

1. CUE.

In a layman definition, what this means is a signal or sign that shows you are ready for work.

It’s more like tricking your brain to get into the work mode.

It’s basically an action you relate to your work mode (it’s not immediately you start doing it that it turns to your work mode though, takes time)

It can be as simple as snapping your fingers

Or putting on your music box… or even humming your favourite song or anything in between.

Mine is as simple as either plugging my earpiece or putting on my music box.
It looks very trivial but crazily effective.

And if you don’t have a cue now, then create one that you will be comfortable with.

If you do it over time, again and again, your brain will relate it to your work mode and that will make you focus.

2. Work in chunks

I learned this cool thing from the legendary Eugene Schwartz.

He only works for 33:33 and he takes a break before he continues again.

What this means is that you make the use of a timer to work and set it to 33:33.

If the timer start, you start working without looking back.

This helps a lot especially when you find it hard to focus.

Work for the first 33 mins and work only.

After that, you can take a good 30mins to 1hr break and you continue.

The hardest part is sticking with the timeframe and if you can do that…

You will see a drastic change in the way you work.

3. Getting a reward system.

After your 33:33 session, you should reward yourself.

It can be as simple as watching an episode of a movie…

Or eating a particular snack you like…

Or even calling your babe or anything.

That will pump you up to do the next 33:33 session with joy.

Why?

Because you are anticipating your reward obviously.

They all sound very simple but they work very well.

At least, I am a good example that it works
Meanwhile, the picture above is my reward system.

I eat like 4 to 8 biscuits after my 33:33

And doing these makes it very easy for you.

Before you know it, you have done 6 hours without breathing a neck.

And it doesn’t matter what you do.

If you use these 3 tips, you will come back to thank me.

They look very trivial but just try them out fess.

Kapish?

Have a nice day ahead,
