How to write stories that sell without losing your customers…

Dolapo

Dolapo

Hey ,

I want to be so serious today and in lieu of that…

Don’t interrupt my message or else we fight dirty..

It’s a new week plizzz..

Okay now back to the matter..

I wanted to write you something else today before I saw this from a subscriber here…

He made me erase all the thoughts I had in mind to write to you with this particular question..
So if you have been meaning to ask me this same question..

Just read attentively from now…

See ,

Writing stories isn’t rocket science..

And one thing I want you to have at the  back of your mind is that…

WE ALL HAVE STORIES TO TELL…

Don’t even argue with me (I warned you at the beginning of this message not interrupt me pliz)

Back to my point…

We all have plenty and enough stories to tell even as an introvert (get inside pikin)..

I have my reasons and I will show you right now…

Do you remember that particular time you almost broke your teeth on the stairs in school?

You remember that babe that rejected you out-rightly in public?

You remember that guy you have been crushing on that you can’t go to meet because of the status quo (who even brought that stupid rule that a guy must approach a lady first?)

You remember how you almost swallowed your tongue when saying Present sir in class?

You remember when you had a fight with that boy that broke your teeth?

I see you nodding your head…

Exactly!!!

We all have something that has happened or is happening in our life that we can weave into stories..

So you aren’t lacking stories…

All you are lacking is:

HOW TO WRITE STORIES WITHOUT LOSING YOUR READERS..

And that my friend, is COPYWRITING!!!

Okay… Let’s go over the way I write my stories…

I will give you the backend structure of my storytelling…

Firstly:

I brainstorm on the story i want to feed you that particular day…

It might be a past story or even something that’s presently happening..

It doesn’t matter… what matter is my presentation.

Secondly:

I write the story down from my head the way I can remember it…

I use all the words I can remember..

And as a copywriter here…

This is more like writing your first draft…

And After writing my first draft…

Thirdly:

I start editing… and this is what I look out for in my storytelling..

Is the lead strong enough to grab and hold attention?

In case you don’t know.. A lead js the first 100 to 300 words of your email or story sha… including the subject line…

After getting the lead right…

I proceed to the body and what I do here is simple…

I make sure as people keep reading each line or paragraph…

They are still in tune with my stories..

I make sure it doesn’t sound boring…

I make sure it sounds believable…

I make sure it sounds relatable to some of them

And how exactly do you achieve this simple feat?

Simple!!!

Let your story be real and original… (don’t force it)

Just write it the exact way you narrate stories to your friend.

That’s all…

And before I go…

There’s something called transitioning in stories (especially if you want to sell something)..

An example of that is:

Can you guess how old my girlfriend is? (story)

I will tell you her age but before that… (transitioning to pitch)

How old are you?

Does your life achievement match your age?

Blah blah blah..

You see the way I transitioned from a story into a sales pitch?

That’s how easy and effortlessly it is…

Wheeeewwww…

I know today’s email is a lot to take in really…

But you see …

Take it seriously because I just showed you a major way to write stories that entice people to pay you..

It’s more like writing a sales copy too…

It follows the same procedure and if you can master this simple yet not easy skill…

You will keep making massive sales and money.

Nuff said…

I don waka…

To your success,

Dolapo Hamzat.

P.S:

Can you see writing my emails is also like writing sales copy?

Can you see how stressful it is?

And you will carry that your pride and say you won’t read my mails…

That’s very rude and wicked of you.

Come and fight me…

Buh fortunately..

I am starting to master it and I only use just 30 mins to write one email..

Dazzzzz aaalllll

Have a nice and productive week.
