Unfortunately, Nigeria Nepa did their thing

There are a lot of things that will disgrace you in Nigeria.

Are we to talk about electricity?

Or we should talk about Network?

And if you are not in Nigeria, you will find it hard to comprehend.

But here’s where this is coming from:

I was supposed to get on a live meeting with my mentees yesterday

All set and ready to work.

But unfortunately, Nigeria Nepa did their thing.

And my laptop battery has been something so scarce I have been looking for since God knows.

So practically, the present battery last for just 30mins max.

And in return, I will call it a desktop in disguise.

But I also have a backup plan because of something like this.

I have a Generator that works superbly.

But it also decided to go faulty yesterday.

And when I called the Engineer, he promised to come today.

So without batting an eye, all plans for the meeting went off just like that.

And what’s the root problem?

Nigeria Nepa.

And if you had pay optimum attention from the beginning of this letter.

You would have noticed something.

And that thing is what I talk about every time.

It’s one of the 5 principles of persuasion.

And I made sure I did it super well here.

In fact, I used two out of the five principles but I will solely focus on one for now.

You should pick the second one out yourself.

You see, I have a problem but I was not blaming myself

And if we critically look at this problem, it’s also my fault.

Because why didn’t I get a good laptop battery?

Why didn’t I repair my Gen as at when due?

I am neglecting all these because I hate to be blamed for my misfortune.

At least, I am human and blaming me will put me on a defensive mode.

So I decided to blame another person entirely.

Which turns out to be our common enemy (second principle)

Or who doesn’t hate Nigeria Nepa here?

Exactly.

Let’s face the reality.

If I had said I am the cause of everything, would it be so interesting and emotionally compelling to read?

Or do you think if I had just taken the blame, it won’t get boring to you?

Or do you think you will be able to relate to it if I took the fault?

Nah Nah

It’s that simple.

I threw the blame at a particular organization which makes the story interesting.

And fortunately, the organization is one that you hate too which makes the story relatable to you.

And without ever seeing each other before, we agreed on something so easily.

It’s that simple.

It’s a chain reaction.

Or why do you think strangers in buses tend to become friends anytime someone discusses the Buhari issue in a bus?

It’s simple as ABC.

But one mistake I noticed a lot of people make is…

They think you can only use this principle when writing Long-form copies.

Which is very far away from the truth.

In fact, in your day to day activities…

You should use these principles and watch how they help you relate better.

An example of a day to day activity is you talking about Buhari on a bus.

People will take it up and that means you got friends.

Another example of a day to day activity is putting captions on your products.

If you use any of the principles I used in this letter alone.

You will get more people to relate with you and what you sell.

And if you get more people to relate with you and what you sell…

What does that mean to you?

More sales and more money

Which brings you a better life.

A life you can live without money worries like most Nigerians.

And it all starts with a single step.

Knowing the human emotions and how they work.

Knowing how to channel the right emotions that go in line with what you sell.

And that’s why on the second day of the 30 Days Writing Bootcamp…

What I will be going at are the human emotions.

I know this thing super well because come to think of it.

Why have I been able to keep you to read this letter from the beginning to this point?

It’s simple

I touch the necessary emotions at the right time so you don’t get tired at any point.

It’s that simple.

And I will be showing you how to deal with human emotions perfectly.

So if you haven’t joined the Bootcamp, here’s a wake-up call to you.

The Bootcamp is starting August 15th and today is 11th.
