What the Lord sent me to do this morning

Today started very weirdly for me.
 
And I don’t know why.
 
But I just don’t feel like writing to you today.
 
And it’s not even that I don’t know what to write or anything thereabout. 
 
I am above that stage.
 
I just feel like sleeping without doing anything. 
 
But the question remains…
 
If I sleep now, who will do these works?
 
If I sleep now, who will feed me?
 
If I sleep now, won’t my client be disappointed that I couldn’t deliver on time?
 
And as simple as this question sounds…
 
It can keep you off procrastination. 
 
You see, it’s not even about me procrastinating again.
 
At least, if I miss sending emails for a week straight…
 
I am still very consistent based on my past record.
 
Yes.
 
People will be like:
 
Maybe he’s sick.
 
Maybe he’s this and that.
 
Maybe he is doing that and this and many others.
 
And they are not saying these to actually be on my good side.
 
It’s my past record.
 
And that’s why if I failed to deliver when I promised my client (which has only happened to one client ever because of exam, had to deliver late)
 
Then they will be the ones to convince themselves. 
 
At least, he was not like this the last time we worked together.
 
Or at least, Mr X that referred me told me he’s quick with delivery.
 
Etc.
 
So you want to build your past record and make it work for you in future.
 
You get that?
 
Here’s another scenario. 
 
You might not be so familiar with this scenario because you are not an American. 
 
But there was a time I wrote a real estate copy for an American guy.
 
And when he was explaining everything to me.
 
He mentioned credit card score.
 
And he said this credit card score is what makes your credit spending limit higher.
 
This means that…
 
The more you borrow money and return ASAP. 
 
The higher your credit score which gives you access to higher money.
 
So that also means your past record is paving way for the future record.
 
I think you get that too?
 
Good.
 
So anytime you wanna stop being consistent…
 
Or anytime you want to do something rash and stupid with your clients 
 
Remember this, :
 
Your past record paves way for your future dealings.
 
If you mess up the past works with a client, you can’t even go near the client in future dealings.
 
Kapish?
 
Good.
 
That’s what the Lord sent me to do this morning.
