What do you see about it?

What are your thoughts about it?

Do you think it’s right?

Do you think it’s supposed to be so?

Is it fair for the Fulani Herdsmen or Unfair?

And while answering that, let me give you a few thoughts of mine..

You see, tribal fights and war has always been in existence before you and I….

And in as much as I think it’s not right especially between us that are in Nigeria..

I also feel it will always happen…

And that is why as a person… you will always have to pick sides in a fight…

You remember those times when you will be part of a team and you rebel against each other?

You remember that time you almost broke that Man Utd guy head because he’s trolling your Chelsea?

You remember when you and Mum had secret meetings to rebel against Dad and your sisters?

You nodding your head yeah?

So tell me, what were you doing then?

You are picking sides my dia..

More like…

Us Vs Them…

And this is more than any tribal thing..

It happens everywhere and every time…

And Now back to this our tribal war..

A lot of Yoruba people can use cutlass or shoot any Fulani man they see..

And same goes to the Fulani people..

Why do you think that is?

Because everybody already picked a side…

The US vs THEM…

Stay with me… I am getting somewhere here…

Do you know this same side picking can also be used in copywriting?

Calm down and let me explain…

They tend to take actions easily…

And this is the one thing you should never neglect in your copy…

The US vs THEM game…

An example is this:

We all know the Nigeria government is really all out to hunt us down..

They don’t want us to live..

They want to take our source of livelihood from us..

This is not the only way to pitch a common enemy..

You can also pitch a common enemy against what they have tried in the past that didn’t work for them…

But I won’t be explaining that today..
