That’s so daft of me

Dolapo

Dolapo

I don’t know about you ,

But I think there’s nothing more embarrassing than having responsibilities and you can’t afford it.

Forget about mantras like…

  • Na broke I broke, I no kill person.
  • Person wey broke today go make am tomorrow
  • Yada Yada.

All these are just justifications for yourself so you don’t feel bad.

Being broke and not able to afford the little things you want for yourself is embarrassing…

Heck, it’s frustrating and annoying.

I have been there before.

And no, this is not the usual grass to grace journey.

This is just me coming from a point of pain and gratitude.

Pain that some people are still taking digital skills with levity.

They are just living from hand to mouth yet…

They feel digital skill is a scam.

They feel you can’t make money online unless you are a yahoo boy.

These are sad things.

Very sad.

And I am coming from the point of gratitude simply because I have been there.

I have once thought in my life that you can’t make money online unless you are a yahoo boy.

That’s so daft of me.

Nevertheless, it was a time of ignorance.

Digital skills and training weren’t this rampant.

And now that they are rampant…

You can’t go through any WhatsApp TVs daily and not see an ad about digital skills.

You can view 20 status daily and not see someone talk about digital skills
But yet, many people still feign ignorance.

Damn.

See , the festive period is here.

Even though you are someone like me that doesn’t care about Detty December.

You will still want to have some amount of money to spare for enjoyment.

Maybe a vacation or spend time with them at home.

Maybe you give them a little amount of money to cook good food at home.

(We all know how expensive things are during the festive periods, so it won’t be bad if you relieve them of the stress)

Maybe just to gift your young ones at home to buy things and all…

Maybe.

Just maybe anything.

And according to the Bible in the book Ecclesiastes 10:19:

“A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything.”

And what does that mean?

I am not a Christian but that shows money makes all things sweet and glamorous.

Without money, you can’t laugh at a feast.

Without money, you can’t even afford wine to make your life merry.

It’s that simple.

And please, don’t attack me abeg.

I only quoted the Bible and explain it in my words.

And yeah, I don’t need your further explanation.

But the bottom line is simple.

Make money to have a good life.

Learn digital skills to make money.

Be ready to go for 6 months dedicated to learning a digital skill.

Simple as that.

And yeah, I am here again to clamour about digital skills and this is because of what I was able to do this morning.

My brother is celebrating his birthday today and I was able to send him some cash.

It appears small to me but not small to the young guy.

He kept thanking me and I was able to smile because I remember I couldn’t give him one kobo last year.

Lmao.

Time sha.

And forget about my issue.

Make money for yourself.

Learn a digital skill.

And if you don’t know where to start, here’s something interesting for you:

Learn a digital skill to make between $200 to $1000 monthly.

Have a blessed day ahead,

Dolapo Hamzat.
