That was the nail in the coffin for me

How do I start explaining to you?

How do I tell you that sending this letter late wasn’t intentional?

How do I tell you I faced some crazy circumstances and instead of that, this letter came late.

How?

I don’t know but one thing I know is that…

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

And when I found the interpretation to this very common statement.

I realized it’s true because just yesterday…

I saw a video of one fine woman (at least in my head)

She’s so fine.

I don’t like women with piercings but it looks so good on this lady.

In fact, she goes against all my wants in a woman but she stole my heart.

She has two ear piercings…

A nose piercing with a big nose ring.

And what floored me was the dimple.

Oh, my days.

That was the nail in the coffin for me.

I went in search of her on IG.

I couldn’t find her account mainly because I am not familiar with IG.

So I begged a friend of mine to help me look for the girl and God so good.

She found her and gave me the link.

And since then, I have been all over this lady’s pictures and videos.

But that’s not the point.

I showed this fine babe that stole my heart to a friend of mine.

And the next thing he said floored me.

It made me believe the phrase beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

He said…

She has too many body modifications.

She’s not even fine, just makeup coupled with piercings…

Yada yada.

Now don’t get me wrong.

I understand that there are different strokes for different folks.

And that’s the exact reason your product isn’t for everybody.

Nah Nah.

Your product is only for people that find beauty in it.

An example is selling female clothes.

All females wear clothes which is true.

But have you forgotten females have different tastes in their dressings?

Have you forgotten the fact that not all females wear gowns?

So yeah, all female wear clothes but not all of them wear what the particular clothes you are selling.

Or is it possible to sell a bodycon gown to someone wearing a niqab?

Nah Nah.

So yes, all females are your target market.

But your target audience is people that see the beauty in what you sell.

Hence, the phrase beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

And mind you…

You shouldn’t care about all other people except your target audience.

Let them go to wherever they want.

Repel them massively.

And that’s why anybody that wants to sign up to my email list will see something like…

If you believe sex should be called copulation, don’t sign up here.

So a fanatic Muslim or Christian won’t even near my email list because they are not my target audience.

Even though they are my target market.

Kapish?

Or wait, you don’t know the difference between target market and target audience?

Really?

Wow.

Okay.

The target market is everybody that you “can” sell your product to.

They have the potential to buy but may not buy.

An example is male sex supplements.

All men are your target market.

Because all men can use whatever you are selling.

And Target Audience is everybody that will buy whatever you are selling.

They have the problems your product is solving.

So they are the main people you should ever face.

Back to our example above.

Your target market for male sex supplements is men.

Your target audience is men that can’t last long in bed.

And don’t forget some men are horses without using Viagra.

So those are never your target audience.

So if you write a lead-in sentence like this:

Do you find it hard to last 30 to 50 mins in bed?

Here’s a solution for you.

Mind you, that is total rubbish but what I want you to pick is simple.

If you can last 30 mins and above, leave here.

That’s exactly what that lead-in sentence is saying.

Kapish?

Good.

And sorry I sent this letter late.

Have a wonderful week ahead,

Dolapo Hamzat.
