But firstly, you need to know I don’t like a new month and the hyped-up spirit that comes with it.

I work and make money monthly.

At least, in the past 4 months…

My income has been growing sporadically and I am even surprised myself.

But that’s not the point.

This morning, you must have been seeing a lot of emails, WhatsApp statuses, FB posts, Twitter threads, etc…

Asking you what you have achieved throughout the year.

You must have seen them and you also start comparing yourself with Hakeem that said he made his first 1M this year.

You might start comparing yourself with Bilikisu that made her first 10M this year. 

And while this in itself is a good and healthy competition…

People will make you feel bad for yourself. 

In fact, the thought that you haven’t achieved really big things will cripple you for the rest of the month. 

I have been there.

I know how sad and annoying it can be when your supposed mates are counting their blessing and it’s huge…

And there you are, counting your fingers.

I understand but what happened to patience?

What happened to you trying all over again and doing it differently instead of quitting?

What happened to making this December your best month of 2021?

What happened to sitting your ass down and doing this work?

What happened?

• Laziness?
• Fear?
• Or what?

You see you can’t talk.

Why?

Because you have everything in your head and you haven’t tried it.

C’mon , don’t let anybody put you on a pedestal this month.

And yet, don’t let anybody disregard your hard work, please.

• Do your work.
• Ignore the naysayers 
• Ignore others too

Infact, my mum was a naysayer in the past.

I won’t go into details but when I started getting results…

She turned from “you like pressing phones and laptops too much, you are not even useful in the house”

To

“You people should stop making noise, Dolapo is having a meeting o and he’s closing deals”

It’s not magic.

I only proved her wrong.

And it’s not her fault, she just doesn’t understand the struggle until money started coming in.

Simple.

And here’s December, put in more work and you will see results.

Also, a good way to start this month and end this month well is by getting a high-income skill.

If you have one, hone this skill better.

Go offline and put in more hours if possible.

Stop following those tooth picked legs up and down.

They will leave you because you are broke.

Make money legally by putting in hours into this thing.

And if you don’t have a high-income skill yet, I will advise you to start with copywriting. 

Yes, this is what has turned me into someone that can prove any naysayers wrong.

But it didn’t happen like magic, I worked hard and harder for it.

And I also got help from my mentor.

But there’s a likely hood chance that you can’t afford a mentor right now.
