There’s a Yoruba adage that says…

“Only a bastard person sees something that gets him angry and won’t get angry.

And also, only a bastard person is someone that will be apologized to and he won’t forgive us.”

And I need you to put this adage in your left hand so you don’t eat with it.

Why?

Because I know I have offended you.

And like I said earlier, you have all right to be angry because that shows you are not a bastard.

While I would explain why this email entered by 6 pm today…

I will apologise first.

, I am really sorry for sending today’s email late.

I had constraints with light over here.

Even though I know I didn’t tell you earlier…

But I am coming out straight now…

I have not been in my Ilorin for some days now and the electricity supply here has been very bad.

This was the major reason I cancelled the live Q&A session with you today.

Now imagine we had the meeting slated for 7 pm today.

I wouldn’t have gotten light to do anything. 

Isn’t that silly?

Exactly. 

So I am sorry.

And now to my earlier adage… 

I know you will forgive me because you are not a bastard.

I got you there yeah?

Cool.

I would have loved to show you something cool today.

But I don’t have the time and energy.

Been angry all through.
