I know how fast you rushed to open this email
And I know how crazily high your curiosity is…
And I won’t disappoint you either.
But here’s one thing you need to know:
If you wanna write your emails or a thread or even WhatsApp status post.
It’s really important that:
Your subject line (in place of email)…
Your first line or slide (in place of Twitter Thread or WhatsApp status slide)
Really arouse your reader to read.
For clarity sake, I will stick to WhatsApp Status Slide so I don’t confuse you.
And trust me, you can use this for anything you do want.
You see, the best type of WhatsApp first slide to use is what we call:
And what does this mean?
This means you are tapping into two essences of human psychology.
The first is the curiosity cat in them.
Just like my favourite person will say…
“Stop waking the curiosity cat in me.”
And what this means isn’t far fetched…
People will always follow anything that piques their curiosity.
We are all inquisitive in one way or the other.
We just have a selected range of something that piques our curiosity.
An example of a curiosity-driven WhatsApp Status Slide is:
“How is that even possible?”
And the next is the popular question of…
“What’s in it for me?”
I don’t think I need to tell us that we humans are all selfish.
And I don’t think I need to start analysing this topic for us again.
Because this is why this also works well.
An example of a benefit-driven WhatsApp Status Slide is:
“How to have a thicker and longer erection just by exercising…”
Now, let’s bring the two together and see what goes.
Having a thicker and longer erection just by exercising? How is that even possible?
Is it possible to have a thicker and longer erection just by exercising?
And if you look at these two examples well…
You should observe something.
I just integrated two things into each other.
And you see if we use just one…
I.e. we either use the curiosity-driven or benefit-driven example.
It will work superbly.
But there’s also a high tendency people won’t keep reading.
And why’s that?
Because people are more sophisticated.
I told you there’s virtually nothing they haven’t seen yet.
And they know what is called clickbait.
So why not come with a twist for them?
Pique their curiosity and tell them what’s in it for them all in one sentence.
And you see, this is just one out of the many ways to start anything you wanna write.
