A lot of things happened yesterday. 

 

And if I say I am not moved emotionally, I am a big liar.

 

Because damn, I never knew I have been able to do all these things for people.

 

I just live my life my way and am not ready to please nobody.

 

And yet, people learned from me.

 

That’s one crazy shit.

 

And I had well over 300 birthday wishes yesterday. 

 

My WhatsApp was jam-packed with various messages.

 

And even the replies to yesterday’s messages were crazy too.

 

But I made sure I did something very important. 

 

I replied to them all.

 

And yeah, I know that doesn’t concern you.

 

And please, stop grumbling and smile.

 

I only wanted to share my joy with you.

 

Because honestly, I am joyful especially if you consider the fact that I am an emotionless morafucker. 

 

But this really made me glad.

 

Meanwhile, I planned to tell you about my event yesterday. 

 

And the marketing lessons embedded in them.

 

But I will be doing that consecutively because I am still very tired.

 

But I will point out something very important to you.

 

You see…

 

There was a hiccup with the event yesterday. 

 

Mr Michael Olatunji said it will start by 2 pm and end by 6 pm.

 

But due to one reason or the other…

 

He came late (he came around 5:30 pm)

 

And people were vexing already. 

 

Some were asking for refunds of their money.

 

And people that were trying to calm them down couldn’t do enough.

 

So it was really crazy.

 

I was just there with a fine lady I met there.

 

We were gisting while everything is going out of hands.

 

People were really angry at him and his lateness.

 

But one thing he did when he came in was what I love.

 

Because everybody kept quiet and listened to him.

 

We were supposed to finish by 6 pm and we had to finish by 8 pm.

 

And what was this thing he did?

 

He apologized as big as he is.

 

Michael Olatunji company did over $1Million in the past 8 months in revenue. 

 

And for someone of his caliber to apologize deeply.

 

He even offered to prostrate.

 

Everybody had to calm down.

 

They calmed their balls down.

 

And what that means is that he protected his reputation. 

 

We are in the Internet world and people don’t have chills when it comes to ranting on social media.

 

So he preserved his name by apologising well.

 

Any lesson for you there?
