Don’t blame me if I fuck up o

Dolapo

Dolapo

Damn…

I did something yesterday and I am so proud of myself.

Like really proud of myself.

But before I tell you what I did, let me quickly give you very sharp information.

This month is the month I was born.

So do with that information what you want.

Moving on to what happened yesterday…

I was invited to speak at a youth event and we had over 18 participants.

I was asked to talk about sales.

But I was really scared when I was told.

This is not because I don’t know what to say.

But how can I do it?

How do I stand in front of people and talk?

How Nah.

That was the question on my head since Tuesday that I was told.

I was even looking for opportunities to just cancel.

And should in case you don’t know, I suck at speaking especially in public.

I stutter a lot and this is bad news for speakers.

But I had no choice but to go.

The coordinator of the event almost got tired of me because I kept saying…

Don’t blame me if I fuck up o.

She was just laughing.

Even when I dropped from my bolt cab and the lady saw me…

She was like…

You will do just fine.

And here we go.

I spoke for 1hour 30 minutes, .

My session is supposed to be for 1hr but these people didn’t even notice I had spent more than the time.

Honestly, I didn’t stutter.

I didn’t even fuck up.

And I only taught a fraction of sales.

Mehn, the video reviews I got after the event was worth the time.

Because they had interviews after I left and the way people were mentioning my name.

I was just grinning from ear to ear.

And this brings us to one thing.

You shouldn’t be afraid of what you haven’t done before.

I was literally afraid of speaking in public because I had one embarrassing moment while presenting a course in my 300 level.

So it stuck to my head and I kept repeating I will fuck up.

But fortunately, I aced the speech and I really laughed.

Even though those people didn’t snap a single proper picture of me.

Nevertheless, the lesson here is obvious yeah?

If you have any business idea and you are afraid of it failing

Do it scared.

There’s a very high chance it will fail but don’t forget there’s a slim chance it won’t fail.

So do it scared.

It really doesn’t matter in this world of today.

People will laugh at you which is really fine.

But what about the reward that will come after it?

That’s worth risking it for.

So do it scared.

And all that being said, let me quickly introduce you to something I have been working on for 2 days now.

Did I tell you about a writing class for business owners yeah?

Exactly.

I think I am done cooking the offer and I have a small write-up explaining the offer here.

It’s nothing serious and it’s not free please even though it’s affordable.

There’s a particular number of people to be taken.

And there’s a deadline for payment.

So go here to read more about it.

N.B: It’s for business owners and information marketers only.

And here’s the link to check out the offer again: writing class for business owners.

Catch ya later,

Dolapo Hamzat.

P.S:

Because it’s my month, happy new month.

But I don’t celebrate birthdays.

Not a religious belief or anything, I just don’t have energy for celebration.

And that’s why I won’t be telling you the date.

Just give me money.

Tains.
