Do you love poverty?

Without wasting much of your time today…

I will quickly give you a rundown of lessons I have learned so far.

And mind you, I won’t be able to document all my lessons but I will drop one or two that are relevant.

But before that, I want you to know life isn’t linear.

And what that means is simple…

The lessons I have learned might not apply to you.

Or they might apply to you.

And that brings us to the first lesson so far…

1. There’s really no hard and fast rule to success

And what I mean is simple…

If what Hakeem did was dropshipping and it took him 2 years to earn his first 10M.

Demola can do just copywriting and earn his first 10M in 6 months.

And that means you should never compare yourself to another person.

The journey is different.

You are running your race, and I am running mine.

I do best in ignoring people that think we are running the same race.

We are competitors or anything in between.

Nah Nah.

My race is mine and your race is yours.

Which bring me to a very crucial lesson:

2. Routines sometimes are very useless.

And no, I am not saying for everybody.

Don’t forget these are my lessons and not yours…

Or you have forgotten lesson 1 so soon?

Exactly.

I found routines very useless and this is the reason.

I have heard thought leaders and very rich guys in the industry say things like:

Wake up early
Sleep early
Say your affirmation
Go to the gym
Work a little bit
Rest
Eat well
Yada Yada.

And don’t get me wrong, this routine isn’t just for me.

There was a time I tried to follow them and it was all a disaster.

I slept as early as 10 pm and I woke up by 12am looking for nothing in particular.

And yeah, I know I was supposed to make it a routine by force but Nah.

I dropped it because I never liked it.

And this doesn’t stop me from being productive each day.

In fact, the way I watch movies these days are really crazy.

And they are mostly Kdramas but that’s a digression.

The point is…

If you feel routines are too tedious for you and they make you tired instead of energetic…

Then craft a routine for yourself.

Just like me, I rarely use a to-do list and I always complete my tasks.

I use a to-do list when I have a lot that I can’t wrap my head around.

But please understand this…

I am not telling you to stop your routine because I said I don’t have a routine.

Don’t shoot yourself in the leg o.

And that being said, there’s a very last lesson I want to share with you.

And as you know me, I am this person that shares wins and also share losses.

Yes, I don’t care.

Which brings me back to something that’s happening to me presently.

You see, so far…

Two of my copies have generated over 7 million Naira for just one of my clients.

And this in itself shows I am good at what I do.

But I launched a campaign for myself some days ago and truth be told…

It didn’t fly at all.

I checked the copy and I feel something is wrong.

But what is wrong with the copy?

I really don’t know.

And that’s why this lesson is for you.

3. Failure will come anytime

You see, I never believed I will get a failed campaign so fast.

Like, three of my copies just started breaking tables and barriers and even charts.

So why should the next one fail?

It’s simple.

Because life is not a respecter of anybody.

It doesn’t care if you have been succeeding for years…

It will just bring failure anytime it feels like.

And it’s now up to you to deal with that failure.

Are you going to let the failure pin you down?

Or are you going to let the failure spring you up?

Totally on you .

Always make that decision and make it fast because life can fuck with you anytime anyway.

And yeah, this email is long enough but I will still add one more lesson in the marketing line which is:

4. Build your audience as soon as possible.

You don’t have to wait until you have something to sell before building your audience.

Nah Nah.

In as much as you know what you want to do…

Either it’s copywriting or sales closing or graphics design or anything in between.

Start building your audience.

Carry them along in your growth.

Learn and also teach them.

Don’t sell them anything yet.

Build that loyalty and let them feel you will always be the best person in that niche.

And by the time you are ready to sell anything, you will have a crazy and groundbreaking launch.

Because they already trust you and they are part of your process.

And I am saying this because this is presently affecting me.

I dedicated everything to learning and mastering copywriting without building an audience.

And heck, I am getting clients and I am making money for them.

But extra money from selling my knowledge won’t hurt yeah?

And impacting knowledge to people to also make extra money won’t hurt yeah?

Exactly.

And yeah, I won’t deny the fact that I love money.

Or do you love poverty?

So please, start building your audience as soon as you know the skill you want to learn.

That’s all.

And like I said earlier, these lessons are mine and it doesn’t mean you should take them seriously.

Isn’t it your life?

Exactly.

To your success,
