Depends on what you want from me…

I can always be a bad influence or even a good influence on you.

And like I said earlier, that’s totally dependent on you.

But that’s a story for another day.

Because as at 08:10 am this morning that I am writing this letter to you… 

My head is blank and I don’t know what to put down.

And this rarely happens to me but that’s not the main issue here.

The main issue is simple.

Just start!

Stop overthinking this shit.

Just get started.

Remember today is Sunday and we are all about life hacks.

Because just last month, I had an idea to host a class for business owners.

And without thinking twice about it…

I don’t even have a flier, I only wore my copywriting hat and wrote one mediocre copy (intentionally)

And I made 75k in 15 days.

Might be a very little amount of money but it’s something. 

And I wouldn’t have made that if I didn’t just start.

Also, same last month…

I pitched to a client when I was actually scared.

Yes, because I thought she’s doing fine already 

Why else does she need me?

But it turns out she needed me more than ever. 

And just like that, I got paid a huge amount of money (I no dey tell you so you won’t kidnap me)

But the main point is clear yeah?

Just start.

And that business idea that has been looming in your head?

Start right now.

I know this sounds cliche and it’s not even easy to do anything right now.

But weigh your options.

You miss 100% of shots you don’t take.

You either gain knowledge or money from the shots you take.

And if I were you, I will always go for knowledge or money.

It’s that simple.

Meanwhile, there will always be a lot of reasons for you not to start right away.

• Might be money.

• Might be time.

• Might be anything. 

But don’t forget that dollar was N360/$ last year.

And now Dollar is N550/$.

What this means is that time waits for no one.

Don’t procrastinate it any longer.

Just start and you keep doing things along the way.

Start.

Just start.

It’s really important you start right now.

And I will be a bad person if I fail to tell you this. 

People will make jest of you when you start.

People will spite at you.

They will insult you and embarrass you.

But don’t despair, they will come back to believe in you soonest.

One thing you need to start the most is…

Believe in yourself. 

And with that, you will be fine even after failures.

So the bottom line is as simple as ABC.

Just start and ignore the naysayers.

And if God put it in your heart to pray for a student today…

Just pray for me because this school seems to be launching attacks on me.
