A very traumatic experience for me

First impressions matter a lot, they say.

Do you believe in this or not?

While reminiscing on this, let me quickly show you something.

While talking to a friend of mine yesterday, I remembered a very traumatic experience that happened in January.

A little back story here.

My friend wants to help me run Facebook ads.

And as God would have it, Uncle Mark already banned my whole life.

This, my friend, is still in the business because one way or the other, he knows how to navigate himself.

I talked to him and while finalizing details.

I told him to send me his acct details so I can transfer a certain amount of money for the ads.

But he said his card doesn’t pay online.

He uses his roommate card and I said he should send the account details.

He said no problem and left.

Then he came later and said, how about we use your card?

And quick one here.

I don’t have ATM cards for all my banks except one.

In fact, GT bank is begging me to come and take my card.

That bank stress and I aren’t friends.

So I told him I don’t have a card.

He said which one do I normally use for Facebook ads.

And instead of answering, a traumatic experience sprung up.

Damn.

I used Access bank Visa card for Facebook ads.

But around January 2021, the first disaster that happened was when I noticed 5k left my account through a transaction I don’t know.

Eh eh.

What’s happening God?

How do I rectify this?

But as stubborn and lazy as I am, I didn’t go to their bank.

And I stopped sending money there for a while.

But there was a day I needed urgent money for client work.

She sent me the money and the next thing I saw was a debit alert.

Ah ah

Una dey wait make money enter the account?

And now, it’s not about the money they took because it’s not that much.

(Yes yes, it was crazily painful because money isn’t easy to see)

But it was about the situation then.

The client needed her ads to be run.

Access bank scammer took the whole money for vanishing.

Oh wait, they left around N180 from N20,000.

And did I go to complain?

Yes, I went to complain because that’s too much to handle mehn.

What I heard next floored me.

“Sorry, you can’t get the money back because the transaction was authorized.”

Na ment, you guys didn’t give me OTP for crying out loud.

I vexed and left the bank that day.

And since then, I vowed never to use that bank again.

So when he asked me, I remembered this experience and started laughing.

But I am still not going back to access btw.

And yeah, this is how people feel when you sell them shit.

When you settle down to calmly sell them shit, you didn’t block a next sale from them.

Nah Nah.

You blocked strings of sales from them, their families, friends, enemies even.

Yes, it’s that crazy.

Or imagine you can get just 5 referrals from that person.

How much more extra money is that without ads?

I can’t ever tell people good things about Access Bank.

Never.

I will always paint them bad.

Yeah, I know I own a business too.

But why on earth would a bank authorize online payment without sending an OTP?

Assuming the OTP was sent and the person bypassed it.

It’s all fine because that’s my fault.

But No

OTP wasn’t sent. It was a straight movement.

Crazy stuff

But we move already.

And you are here reading my mail, I believe you won’t ever sell shit.

Yeah?

Good.

If you wanna sell courses but don’t know where and how to start from…
